Climate change (Global Warming specfically) is a farce

Alright...did I get your attention? Good. Now, onto business...my intention is not to make this blog a political statement as I know my limitations. I will only say that from what I have read, there is to much information that is showing that the current climate change is just part of the normal cycle of the earth...plus our inability to collect good, quality data that supports the concept of climate change. I have a few links on the side that raise questions about the accuracy of global warming data...especially when it comes to the United States national weather stations and where they place their observation equipment.

That being said...

Today is 3 September 2008. We haven't received much rain. I was on vacation last week (left on Thursday and returned on Sunday), but upon my return, my little plastic rain gauge showed that I had .60 inches of rain. I do know that that rain occurred on Thursday and possibly Friday, so there was probably a little bit of evaporation that took place. Where I live (Hampton Roads, Va) we are in a rain deficit...I think the official amount is close to 7 inches. Now hopefully, Hannah will bring some rain up here and not cause much devastation, but we definitely need the rain.

Right now, the current temperature at my house (again, with a plastic thermometer) is 90F.
